Ash Landrein

Expressive Arts Therapy Intern

As a master’s candidate in Expressive Arts Therapy at Lesley University, I understand and encourage everyone’s natural capabilities of imagination, creativity, and play. In my practice, I believe in using the arts (music, visual, narrative, and more) to connect with and explore our internal world, providing an outlet for expression in handling difficult emotions, stress, interpersonal relationships, grief and other life circumstances.

My approach is strength-based, culturally informed and trauma-sensitive. I offer a safe space to explore personal narratives through a judgment-free and affirmative lens, considering systemic barriers and oppressive structures that affect a person’s overall well-being.

I identify as LGBQTIA+ and am mindful of the stigma and challenges faced by marginalized communities.

I also have years of experience working with neurodiverse populations in individual and group settings.
